Ship Finder Lite App Reviews

I work on the west coast waterfront. This was a very interesting app that I could use in my day to day life. Unfortunately it displays no ships on the west coast. Funny because Im looking at 20 ships in my harbor that are not displayed on the app.

It didnt show the freighter that sailed past me on the river, despite it being a well charted navigation channel.

Lots of annoying ads, but no ships in Puget Sound and Seattle. Only the ads work on iPhone6 with IOS 8.

This app worked fine up until a couple months ago and now I get no ships here on San Francisco Bay. Im using an iPhone 5 with OS 8

Only shows my current location, no ships. What happened?

Great product! Accurate and simple to operate. Works as advertised on my iPhone and iPad. LOVE IT!

My friend showed me this app any hardships showing up. But, I downloaded it and there are no ships showing at all. It seems like a lot of people are having this problem it would be nice if they responded.

I understand paid versions of apps mean you are dealing with advertisements and limits on functionality. Free version will not allow you to search for individual ships.. Even limits on number etc to test the waters before purchasing full version would be of benefit. I’ll still to desktop vessel searches and find the data.

This used to be a great app. Now that I have it on my iPhone 5S it only shows my location on the map. No ships showing at all. I realise that with free you get what you pay for, but this is ridiculous. It was great on my iPhone 4S.

Seriously every time i hit a total of 3 ships, an ad pops up covering the whole screen. So annoying. I understand its a free app and had ads. Thats why you have the ads at the top of screen not covering the whole screen. Making the app extremely annoying and almost unusable.

Cool to see ships in real time. Also like how it is icon coded for various vessel types.

Found this app lacking is most all areas!

Riddled with annoying pop up app ads, and completely useless. Shows you no information with out having to by the full version.

Really do enjoy using the app. But It doesnt seem to find all the ships very well. Ive often been on the channel looking at ships going in or out with no acknowledgement in the app. But mostly I wish I never would have updated the app because when I did I lost the satellite view of the map. Dont care for this map.

I agree with others that ads are expected on free apps, but this app is one of the worst. Seems like the last update put them on steroids, full screen ads after checking out only a few ships on the map. And some ads, like the overly repetitive Google ads, have to run 5 seconds before you can close them. Spare yourself the grief and irritation; dont bother with this one.

I was in Cabo San Lucas trying to use the app and it showed zero ships. Then I was in Istanbul and again it showed zero ships. Clearly this app only works in select places. I am deleting with the hopes it will be better app in the future.

Poop no ship info not worth the time.

I wish I could say that the app was worthy of purchasing the full version but I was too busy clicking away ads to see if it was useful or not. Too few locations of ships, too little info. Waste of time downloading this.

Ships that I know have AIS dont show like the one that was right by my boat

This app is nothing more than a spam generator. Deleted!
