Ship Finder Lite App Reviews

Great free App! I live on the ocean in a high traffic area and it is great to be able to identify every vessel.

This is a good app. I used to to find the ship Im due to crew on in a few days.

I may indeed upgrade. The free version is very effective in showing here on the west coast where ships are, where they are heading etc. Quite accurate and useful to a sailor. The problem I occasionally encounter has to do with cell coverage.... sigh....

The app is fun when sitting on the beach or while watching the cargo ships being loaded. You can look up their names and other info. Impresses landlubbers.

Tried while crossing lake ontario from Toronto to niagara and back, visual contact with at least 5 freighter, non on the app.

Im.a sailor on lake huron and erie. Found app missed half of ships AIS targets. Fun app all the same.

Pretty good for a free version, good for hobbyists. A fun app.

Would like the app to stop telling me I need an "Internet connection" when I am clearly connected via WiFi

I find it fairly useful,especially when anticipating the arrival of a ship of interest to me,eg. one that l am waiting for.

The program was great for my area a couple weeks ago installed. The ship activity around comox bc not reporting last couple of weeks? Lots of activity if I open nr Nanaimo. Maybe a Military stealth?

Got to love this app show you where all the ships are. This app comes in real handy, especially when you work on the water front...:)

Nice to know where the ferries are when heading into active pass in our boat! Also nice to know if ferries are late so u dont have to rush to ferry line up!

Very nice app.

Glad I tried this free one before spending big bucks to find out this does not work well. Worked ok in Vancouver, but not in Toronto.

Would like to see northern British Columbia/Vancouver Island! Otherwise good app. 3 Stars until locations expand.

Great App for west coast living near,and traveling by the Ocean. Also, with family working on tugs and fishboats it is real fun experience.

Wouldnt pay for this. Searched Halifax Harbour and found no ships. Really? Free is the correct price for this app.

Very inaccurate plotting. Frustrating.

Not sure what is wrong. I see ships in Freeport, New York, St. Lawrence seaway, Great Lakes and St. Johns NFL. But not in Miami, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax harbour. And there are ships, tugs and ferries there all the time.
